Ayurvedic spice mix for Vata balancing (Fall & Winter Season)
Ingredients:
Coriander seeds. 4 tbsp
Toor dal. 1 tbsp
Urad dal. 1 tbsp
Cumin. 1 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tbsp
Hing 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder. 1 tbsp
Directions: Dry roast and grind. Can multiply the portion and make large quantity and store in airtight container or bottle. Add some ginger to balance Kapha. This can be used to flavor any stir fried vegetables or soups or stews.
